New updated version ... The following enhancements have been made: 1. The red Motor driver PCBA is now internal, making for a more compact and robust design; 2. The unit is fully field upgradeable; 3. We’ve improved the diagnostic functions through the LightWare Terminal program; 4. A USB cable will no longer be provided, only a serial cable, but of course a serial to USB converter can be used. 5. Importantly: we’ve replaced the FPGA with a new type of processor. We hope this will alleviate the resetting issue caused by some power supplies. Please use this new draft manual for the product: https://lightware-optoelectronics.github.io/sf40-docs/ SF40/C is a long range (0 ... 100 m), laser scanner designed specifically to provide UAVs with SLAM intelligence.
Typical applications:
- Assist with takeoff, landing and hovering.
- Collision avoidance and low level manoeuvring.
- Critical UAS component.
The SF40/C is a laser scanner for which provides UAVs with simultaneous localization and mapping intelligence. With 100 % data saturation at 5 image updates per second, multi-directional collision avoidance is enabled.
- Easy to configure using the built-in menus and LightWare Terminal software Fully calibrated and ready to run Complete with power, interface and micro USB cables.
